  • Injection Molded Plastic Parts: Injection molding produces high volumes of parts for a low cost. In order to be successful, parts must be designed properly for injection molding, with consistent cross-sections, draft, and geometry optimized for the material and the tooling.


  • Additive Manufacturing - 3D Printed Parts: Additive Manufacturing produces a wide variety of parts for prototyping and for production. In order to take advantage of this innovative fabrication process, product designs should be adapted to the 3D printing process to meet the functional, cosmetic, and cost requirements.  


  • Traditional Fabrication: Milling, drilling, turning, tapping, and forming by hand and with CNC equipment remains the optimal method for making many parts. Designing with 3D CAD modeling for these fabrication processes will make more robust and economical parts.
